Format requirements
Format requirements
What your submission needs to look like.
Manuscript Template
Prepare your manuscript using the EasyChair Word template. Follow its predefined styles, fonts, margins, headings, and layout throughout the document.
Figures, Tables, and References
Figures and tables must be legible, numbered, captioned, and referenced in the text. Use high-resolution images suitable for publication, preferably at least 300 dpi. Cite all sources and use a consistent reference style throughout the manuscript.
Submission File and Anonymization
Submit your manuscript as a PDF through EasyChair.
For submissions subject to double-blind review, remove author names, affiliations, acknowledgments, and other identifying information from the manuscript and file metadata. Enter author details only in the designated fields in EasyChair.
Before submitting, verify that the PDF displays correctly and that all text, figures, tables, and references are readable.
Final Publication Requirements
Accepted manuscripts may require formatting adjustments to meet the selected publisher’s requirements. Detailed instructions will be provided after acceptance, and editable source files may be requested at that stage.

Editorial policies
Editorial
policies
Please read these before submitting your work.
Full Papers, Short Papers, and Extended Abstracts will undergo double-blind peer review. Author identities will be concealed from reviewers, and reviewer identities will be concealed from authors. Each submission will normally receive at least three independent reviews.
Submissions will be evaluated for relevance, originality, methodological rigor, clarity, contribution, and potential impact. Industry Briefs will be reviewed by the program chairs for relevance to the conference.
Authors must remove names, affiliations, acknowledgments, and other identifying information from the review manuscript. Reviewers and chairs must disclose conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from affected submissions. Manuscripts and reviews must be treated as confidential.
The Program Chairs and Volume Editors are responsible for ensuring the integrity, fairness, and quality of the review process and for making final acceptance decisions for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
Submissions must present original work that has not been previously published and is not simultaneously under review by another journal, conference, or archival publication venue.
Submissions will be screened for plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and other forms of inappropriate text or content reuse. All sources must be properly acknowledged. Plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of results, and misrepresentation of authorship are unacceptable.
GITMA may reject a submission or, where applicable and in coordination with the publisher, correct or retract a published work if plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, copyright infringement, or other misconduct is identified.
Authors bear sole responsibility for the content of their submissions, including its accuracy, originality, proper attribution, and compliance with applicable ethical and legal requirements. This responsibility extends to any AI-generated or AI-assisted text, images, code, data, or analyses.
Authors must verify all content and obtain any permissions required to reproduce third-party material. Peer review, acceptance, or publication does not transfer this responsibility to GITMA or constitute an endorsement of the authors’ claims.
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all appropriate co-authors are included and that all authors have approved the final version submitted for publication.
Changes to authorship after acceptance must be justified and approved before the proceedings are delivered to the publisher. Once a paper has been delivered to the publisher for production, authors cannot be added or removed, the order of authors cannot be changed, and the corresponding author cannot be changed.
Permitted Use and Author Responsibility
AI tools may be used to assist with language editing, translation, coding, and data analysis. They must not replace the authors’ intellectual contribution or be used to write substantial portions of the manuscript, generate its core arguments, fabricate research results, or produce unsupported conclusions.
Authors must verify all AI-assisted outputs and remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, attribution, and integrity of their work. AI systems cannot be listed as authors. Authors must protect confidential, personal, and sensitive information when using AI tools.
Disclosure and Compliance
AI use beyond routine spelling and grammar correction must be disclosed in the manuscript, identifying the tool and explaining its purpose and scope. Disclosures must preserve anonymity during double-blind peer review.
Disclosure does not authorize uses prohibited by this policy. GITMA reserves the right to reject a submission or withdraw acceptance if the program committee determines that AI use violates this policy, compromises the integrity of the work, or has not been adequately disclosed.
Use by Reviewers
Reviewers must not upload manuscripts, excerpts, figures, data, or other confidential review materials to generative AI tools, or use these tools to evaluate submissions or generate substantive review assessments.
AI assistance limited to editing the language of a reviewer’s own report may be used only if confidentiality is preserved and must be disclosed in the review report. Reviewers remain personally responsible for the content, accuracy, and judgment expressed in their reviews.
At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference at the full author registration rate by the author registration deadline and present the work at the conference. Discounted registrations, including student registrations, do not fulfill this requirement.
Papers not presented may be excluded from the final proceedings, subject to the conference publication policy. Authors who anticipate difficulties presenting must contact the program chairs before the conference. Exceptions require approval from the conference organizers.
Accepted papers selected for publication will be included in the GITMA 2027 Conference Proceedings published by the Publisher, subject to successful completion of the peer-review process and compliance with all conference and publisher requirements.
Acceptance for presentation does not by itself guarantee publication in the proceedings. Authors must submit the final manuscript in accordance with the Publisher’s formatting and publication requirements, complete the required publishing agreement, and comply with applicable registration and presentation policies.
Initial submissions must be provided as anonymized PDF files following the GITMA 2027 submission guidelines. Accepted authors will be required to prepare their final manuscripts using the applicable template and provide the source files required for publication.
Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial interests that could reasonably be perceived as influencing the submitted work.
Authors, reviewers, Program Committee members, Track Chairs, and Program Chairs must disclose conflicts of interest relevant to the review process. Individuals with a conflict must not participate in the review, discussion, or decision concerning the affected submission.
Research involving human participants, personal data, sensitive information, or other ethically regulated activities must comply with applicable institutional, national, and international requirements.
Where required, authors must obtain approval from the appropriate ethics or institutional review body and informed consent from participants. Authors may be asked to provide evidence of such approval.
Authors must also comply with the Publisher’s applicable research integrity and publishing ethics policies.
All submissions will undergo an initial administrative and scope screening before peer review.
Submissions may be rejected without external review if they fall outside the scope of GITMA 2027, are substantially incomplete, fail to comply with formatting or anonymization requirements, exceed the applicable length limits, violate originality or concurrent-submission policies, or present clear ethical or research-integrity concerns.
Desk-rejection decisions will be made by the Program Chairs or designated Track Chairs.
