Gustavo Parés is the CEO of NDS Cognitive labs, a leading company in cognitive computing and AI technology business solutions dedicated to helping global companies accelerate their Digital Transformation. He was born in Mexico City and earned a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and a master’s degree in Business Administration at Tecnológico de Monterrey. He also received an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and other executive education courses at Harvard, Stanford, Singularity, and IMD. Gustavo has published chapters, articles, and presentations in the USA, South Korea, India, Italy, and Mexico.
Prashant Palvia, Ph.D., is a Joe Rosenthal Excellence Professor in the Bryan School of Business & Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, USA. Dr. Palvia received his Ph.D., MBA, and MS from the University of Minnesota. He has worked extensively in the field of Global IT Management and chairs the conferences of the Global IT Management Association. Professor Palvia is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Global Information Technology Management and Associate Editor for Information & Management. His research interests include global IT management, societal issues of IT, healthcare IT, and security and privacy. He has published 116 journal articles, 5 books, 21 book chapters, and numerous conference proceedings. His articles have appeared in such journals as the MIS Quarterly, Decision Sciences, Communications of the ACM, Communications of the AIS, Information & Management, and Decision Support Systems. He has co-edited five books on Global IT Management. In 2013, he formed an international research team and launched The World IT Project, which looks at important IT issues in 37 countries across the world.
Dr. Mahesh S. Raisinghani was awarded TWU’s 2017 Innovation in Academia award, the 2015 Distinction in Distance Education award, the 2008 Excellence in Research & Scholarship award, and the 2007 G. Ann Uhlir Endowed Fellowship in Higher Education Administration. He was also awarded the 2017 National Engaged Leader Award by the National Society of Leadership and Success; and the 2017 Volunteer Award at the Model United Nations Conference for his service to the Youth and Government by the Model United Nations Committee. He has edited eight books and published over hundred manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and book series, and has consulted for a variety of public and private organizations on IT management and applications. Dr. Raisinghani serves as the Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Web-based Learning and Teaching Technologies; on the board of Global IT Management Association, and as an advisory board member of the World Affairs Council. He is included in the millennium edition of Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who among Professionals, Who’s Who among America’s Teachers, and Who’s Who in Information Technology.
Ph.D. in Information Systems from Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville. Holds a Master of Science Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Texas A&M University. At Texas A&M, courses focused on areas like Accounting Information Systems (SAP R/3), Data Warehousing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, and Corporate Information Planning. Also, held various positions at Texas A&M during his graduate studies. Prior to Texas A&M, he worked as a Software Engineer with Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCSL) India implementing various client Change Requests. It entailed analyzing, designing, developing & reviewing software components in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system through the software called “TeamCenter Enterprise”.
Tim Jacks is an Associate Professor at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in the USA. He has been an active member of the World IT Project core research team since its inception in 2013. His research interests include culture (at the country, organization, and occupation levels), business/IT strategic alignment, and healthcare informatics. He is a pioneer in the area of IT Occupational Culture and its impact on organizations. He has published in a variety of academic journals including Communications of the Association of Information Systems, the DATABASE for Advances in Information Systems, Journal of Global Information Technology Management, Information Technology, and People, Business Process Management Journal, and Decision Support Systems.

Dr. Abdullah Oguz has been working as an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems at the School of Business in Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). Before CCSU, he worked as a visiting lecturer in Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University for one and a half years. Dr. Oguz graduated from the Ph.D. program in Information Systems at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) in 2020. His Ph.D. dissertation is “Workplace Cyberbullying in Global Virtual Teams”. Before starting his Ph.D. program, he had worked at the Turkish Customs Administration for 12 years as a member of the Project Management Office. He planned and managed national and EU-funded projects with a view to enhancing the law enforcement capacity of the administration. He has been a Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential holder since 2014. His Book “Project Management: Navigating the Complexity with a Systematic Approach” will be published as an OER this year.

Prasad S Rudramuniyaiah, Ph.D.
Dr. Prasad Rudramuniyaiah is an Associate Professor of Computer Information Systems and Analytics. He earned his Ph.D. from University of Missouri – St. Louis, and, a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Cybersecurity from Dakota State University. Prior to his appointment at UCM, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Decision Sciences at Indiana University South Bend.
His research interests include data analytics in healthcare and national critical infrastructures, data analytics in business sectors, big data and IT governance, business intelligence and knowledge management.
His research has been published in journals such as Information Systems Frontiers and Communications of the AIS and, has presented at several national and international conferences. He serves on several committees of the Midwest Association of IS (MWAIS) and, is an active member of the Special Interest Group for Decision Support and Analytics (SIGDSA).
Prasad is also interested in conservational ecology and is a member of Bat Conservation International and, is passionate about protecting bats and conserving their habitats. Save the Bats!
