Dr. Prashant Palvia is Joe Rosenthal Excellence Professor in the Bryan School of Business & Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, USA.  Dr. Palvia served as Department Head from 2000 to 2004, Information Systems Ph.D. Program Director from 2003 to 2008, and McDowell Research Center Director from 2007 to 2011. Prior to 30 years in academics, he had 9 years of industry experience. He received his Ph.D., MBA and MS from the University of Minnesota and BS from the University of Delhi, India. Sixteen students have received their Ph.D. under his guidance.  Prof. Palvia received UNCG’s senior research excellence award in 2005.  He has worked extensively in the field of Global Information Technology Management (GITM) and chairs the annual GITMA world conference, the next one being in Philadelphia, USA in June 2014 (http://www.gitma.org).  He also chaired the EMR Implementation conferences at UNCG in 2010 and 2011.

Professor Palvia is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Global Information Technology Management, and is on the editorial board of several journals including the role of associate editor for Information & Management. His research interests include global information technology management, healthcare IT, virtual teams, electronic commerce, media choice theory, and trust in exchange relationships. He has published 103 journal articles which include publications in the MIS Quarterly, Decision Sciences, Communications of the ACM, Communications of the AIS, Information & Management, Decision Support Systems, and ACM Transactions on Database Systems, and 204 conference articles. He has co-edited four books on Global Information Technology Management

Lakshmi Iyer is an Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Programs in the Information Systems and Supply Chain Management Department, Bryan School of Business and Economics at the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG). She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Georgia, Athens, GA and her M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. Her research interests are in the area of business analytics, knowledge management, emerging technologies & its impact on organizations and users, and diversity in computing. Her research work has been published in or forthcoming in Communications of the AIS, Journal of Association for Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Communications of the ACM, Decision Support Systems, eService Journal, Journal of Electronic Commerce Research, International Journal of Business Intelligence Research, Information Systems Management, Journal of Global Information Technology and Management, and others. She is a Board member of Teradata University Network, Chair of the Special Interest Group in Decision Support and Analytics (formerly SIGDSS), and served as research track co-chair for BI Congress. She is currently the President and Conference chair for 2015 Global Information Technology Management Association (GITMA) and conference. She served as Program co-chair for the 2013 GITMA Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Tim Jacks is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Management & Information Systems at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He earned his Ph.D. in 2012 in Information Systems & Operations Management at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and his dissertation examined the impact of IT occupational culture on organizational outcomes. He has over 18 years of industry experience including IT management positions with Lowe's Home Improvement, Corning, and Piedmont Health Alliance. Management experience has included networking, systems administration, data center operations, and vendor relations. Dr. Jacks' primary teaching areas are Telecommunications, Information Security, and Information Systems in Business. His current research builds on his dissertation on IT occupational culture and the interaction between culture and strategic IT/Business Alignment. He has published in journals such as Decision Support Systems, Communications of the AIS, Business Process Management Journal, and the Journal of Global IT Management, as well as conference proceedings. He is also the Program Chair for GITMA 2015 in St. Louis and urges you to attend!

Anil Kumar is a Professor of Information Systems at Central Michigan University. He is a GITMA fellow and the 2012–2014 Towle professor of Information Systems at Central Michigan University. His research interests include managing information resources, technology-mediated learning, and creating value from social media technologies. Dr. Mahesh S. Raisinghani, Ph.D, MBA, MSc is the President and CEO of RGI, Inc. and a tenured associate professor in the Executive MBA program at the TWU School of Management. He has earned his leadership certificate from the Center for Creative Leadership and is a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified E-Commerce Consultant (CEC), and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). He was the invited speaker on Innovation at the EU-Russia Summit held in Finland in May 2011, and the Project Management Institute’s annual conference in Mexico in June 2011. Dr. Raisinghani was awarded the 2008 Excellence in Research & Scholarship award and the 2007 G. Ann Uhlir Endowed Fellowship in Higher Education Administration. He was also the recipient of TWU School of Management's 2005 Best Professor Award for the Most Innovative Teaching Methods; 2002 research award; 2001 King/Haggar Award for excellence in teaching, research and service; and a 1999 UD-GSM Presidential Award. He has taught graduate courses at the European University in Switzerland, Turku School of Economics in Finland and Purdue University's German International School of Management and Administration in Germany. He has served as an External Examiner for theses and dissertations in Australia

Virginia Franke Kleist, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Management Information Systems at the College of Business and Economics, West Virginia University.  Dr. Kleist teaches strategic technology at the M.B.A. and Executive M.B.A. level, as well as undergraduate Management Information Systems, data communications and network security at the College.  Kleist spent 10 years in industry in telecommunications network management operations for GTE Corporation (now Verizon), Joy Technologies, Inc., PNC Corporation and the Allegheny Health, Education and Research Foundation (AHERF).

Dr. Kleist’s publications are in IS Frontiers, Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Information Security and Privacy, Information Systems Management, Information Management and Computer Security, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Electronic Commerce Research and other prestigious research journals.  Dr. Kleist served as a Fulbright Specialist in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, teaching network security and electronic commerce to students at the National Mining University. Kleist has also served as a Fulbright Specialist to VEGU Academy in Ufa, Russia in 2014. 

Kleist was honored with the International Conference on Information Systems Outstanding Dissertation Award in Brisbane, Australia, in 2000. She is a long time member of AIS, program co-chair of the Global Information Technology Management Association 2014 Conference, a member of AIS's Special Interest Group in Security, and a member of AIS's Special Interest Group in Accounting Information Systems. She is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and a member of the Fulbright Association.  She is an Executive Group board member and Coordinating Editor for IS Frontiers and an Associate Editor of the International Journal of e-Politics.

Dr. Kleist is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and a multi-year member of the WVU Faculty Senate Executive Committee.  She served as chairperson of the WVU Faculty Senate from 2008 to 2009. In the fall of 2011, She received the College of Business and Economics Outstanding Teaching Award in 2002, the WVU Foundation Outstanding University teaching Award in 2003 and the College of Business and Economics Outstanding Service Award in 2009.

Praveen Pinjani is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at Delaware State University, College of Business. He is also the Co-Director for Center for IT Services, housed in Delaware State University College of Business. He received his Ph.D. from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Masters degree from Texas Tech University and attended LBSIM in New Delhi, India where he earned his MBA. His research interests focus on Global Virtual Teams and Global IT management. His has published in several leading journals including Information and Management, Decision Support Systems and Communications of the AIS. Aykut Hamit TURAN was born on October, 9th, 1972 in Istanbul, Turkey. He is currently working as an associate professor at Sakarya University, School of Management.
